Rebecca Jean Catering is looking for help with an upcoming event on Saturday November 1 at the Lawrence Hall of Science (1 Centennial Drive, Berkeley). I am looking to fill multiple positions and shifts, so if you are only able to bring a certain amount of workers, please let me know what we can work out. The specific shifts I need filled are as follows: 3 cooks – 3.30p -10p (6.5 hours) These don’t need to be chefs or anything, but cooking experience and comfort using knives is preferred. 5 Servers – 4.30p – 10.30p (6 hours) 3 Servers – 4.30p – 11p (6.5 hours) 4 Bussers – 5.30p – 10.30p (5 hours) Event Details & Contractor Instructions: The Lawrence Hall of Science is holding their annual Gala in their space (children’s science museum) that will have a live auction to raise money for the museum. RJC to provide a VIP passed/stationary app hour and then live chef stations and dessert chef stations for the evening and a dessert takeaway. Carpools will be coordinated if needed from SF as the event is in Berkeley, Ca. UNIFORM: Black Bistro (With Black Vest)- FOH Staff (SERVERS AND BUSSERS) : Pressed all black pants (no jeans), pressed all black long sleeved collared shirt that buttons to the top, all black long tie, black vest & all black dress shoes. Shoes must be black, closed toed and non-slip. No ballet flats, large boots or non dress shoes. Please make sure your uniform is pressed and free of lint or animal dander. Must be clean shaven and hair should be groomed and/or pulled back. All staff must arrive on site fully dressed and ready to work unless previously specified.
